Hi

Anyone knows if it is possible to apply a time function to a frictional contact properties in a sol 601 ?

I would like to start for the first time step with a frictionless model and at the end i should introduce the friction.
I need this behavior to simulate the correct mounting procedure.

Thank you

Dear Firema,
You can use RESTART, you can run till the time step you like, then stop the analysis, modify the contact properties, time step size, final time, etc.. and re-run your model using RESTART.
Best regards,
Blas.
