Force Time History Out put

Dear all,

I Modeled the impact of Solid deformable Proctile on shell Target Plate. In the output, I am getting good results for Displacment~Time curves but the values for the Force~Time curve are zero. It applied analysis to the whole model. Then when I try to change it to set of a reference point, it's showing not allowing me. How can I get Impact force vs time in output?

Which output variable are you trying to use for that - reaction force (RF), total force (TF) or other ? If you want to obtain the reaction force of the target plate then request RF for its fixed nodes.

I want to find Impact Force so , I used CFORCE

This variable (contact force) is available only as field output and it’s plotted for surfaces involved in contact. So you can’t request it for reference points, if that’s what you meant.

I also tried it for Contact surfaces but it is givving values of zero.
