1. Where can I turn off automatic view alignment in drafting?

2. I have two curves where the second curve is made by mirroring the first curve. Now I want to connect these two curves with spline. Will spline be symmetrical with respect to the mirror plane if I use the same constraint condition at the start and at the end point (e.g. G1)?

3. If a body is directly created by tc mesh (using sketches as primary, and last cross is the same as the first), does the mesh function preserve the flatness at the start and end face (where the first and last sketch/primary are)?

1) What version of NX?

2) I would suggest the use of a 'bridge curve'

3) Have you tried? If so, what result did you get?

1) NX 6

3) I tried,...and result was a bit weird. It looked flat, I was able to place a hole on it, but then in drawing I noticed that it wasn't exactly flat or parallel with sketch plane. After changing G0 tolerance to minimum allowed they became parallel (or the difference was so small that NX couldn't detect it). hm..

Thanks

1) I'm not sure you can turn it off, but you can override it if you hold down the 'Alt' key while moving views.

3) Can you post a screenshot, or better yet, a sample part?

1) That will suffice

3) Original part no, maybe some sample, but can't at the moment. I don't think you'll see anything useful from the pic.

Thanks for info.!
