Hi,

I write because I have a trouble with a Dynamic Simulation in COMSOL.
I have to simulate a situation where there are two pieces: a silicone rubber interface with some pillars with different height and a plane of glass.
The silicone rubber interface has to compressed on the glass plane with a normal force of 10N and then a tangential force is applied on the glass plane to create the slipping of the interface's pillar, if possible it would be better applied a shift on the plane by a know speed instead of the tangential force.
The problems are that there are 2 separated piece, the interface has different height pillars and there are 2 different stresses in a different chronological period.

Could you help me?

I can use also Patran/Nastran...

Thanks

Matteo
