Feature / Design tree width 1

My feature tree width keeps changing. I can drag it to the width I want but it does not stick. As soon as I change another file the width changes.

Does anyone know how to correct this behaviour?

Frustrating isn't it[hairpull3]... It changes between files, it's not one feature manager tree for all. That would be an Enhancement request at the SW website in the customer portal.
