Failure Index in Patran

Hi All,

I am doing Laminate analysis by using MSC Patran.

While post processing of the results (Using Hill's Failure Theory),for a particular element, I am getting failure indices for all ply as well as the Worst* ply. If I check, the ply by ply Failure Index is found more than the Worst* ply.

How that can be possible?
