I am currently working on a supply chain case study in which I am considering samarium-cobalt magnets as a commodity (the supply chain of which I am optimizing using optimization algorithms from operations research and machine learning).

I want to know the list and locations (cities or counties) of factories or facilities (demand points) inside US which are manufacturing products which contains samarium-cobalt magnets.

One example I can thought of is magnetic resonance imaging from medical equipment manufacturing. Other uses can be in automotive industry.

You might see what you can get from the MMPA.
I used to work for a small manufacturer of magnets, and we had 500-1000 customers.
We were heavy into electronics, aerospace, sensors, meters, and small motors. No big stuff or real high volumes.

What MMPA stands for?
