Is it possible to calculate punts using RPMs in an extruder

1 of my customers is trying to get pounds per hour. Is it possible to calculate the pounds produced according to the RPMs?
My concern is that I'm overthinking, and I can probably only use a standard rate of Pounds per hour instead of doing an intrusive installation to get RPMs.
