Hi Everyone
I am reading some literature regarding Shock response spectra and came across the Extreme response spectra (ERS). It seems ERS is similar to SRS except that it applies to vibrations instead of shock as is the case with SRS.
Further it seems that ERS is normally calculated directly from power spectra of the signal unlike SRS which is usually calculated from the time signal.
Does any one have a decent source (book or paper) that talks about the process of developing ERS from power spectra. Any matlab implementation is more than welcome.
Thanks
Shashank
