Exploding Text

I was wondering if anyone knows how to explode AutoCAD text so we could Laser cut part #'s on our DXF files?
 
Express Tools, explode text, use bpoly to clean it up. Or WMFOUT, WMFIN, scale back to size wanted, the scale factor is 2.0.
