A followup to thread238-219716

EPRI (not IEEE) has in fact started issuing their own series of “Color Books” which I gather are supposed to be detailed references on topics of interest to utility engineers.

I just took a look at the “Copper Book” for transformers which was published at end of 2010. I was very impressed with Chapter 1. For anyone interested in transformers that has an EPRI account, this is a must-have imo.

Thank you pete for the information.I knew they were working on a transformer guide.

Hello,

I agree that they are good references, but if you are not an EPRI member, their price is huge and I think not worth it.
