EN1092 vs DIN2635

I have purchased an expensive piece of equipment from Europe but there seems to be multiple standards used for the different connections.

Is DIN2635 PN40 identical to EN1092-1/11 B1 PN40? I had a look at two spec sheets and the sizes look the same
What is EN1092? Is that just and update on DIN2635? Is there an EN1092 version that has ISO or ASME sizing tables? Or is it just for DIN?
Does anyone have a good pdf or summary sheet that shows the different sizing for ISO, EN, DIN, ASME?

DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) is one of the traditional German standards for metallic flanges rated to PN 40. It is effectively defunct but still widely used and quoted. It has essentially been replaced by EN 1092.

"PN40" (40 bar rated flanges) in both standards will provide the same dimensions. For the actual pressure rating of a given nominal bore "DN" at a certain temperature of a listed flange material, the actual rating may differ. You need to decide which is the governing standard and look up the P/T suitability.

"DIN" Flanges are not compatible or interchangeable with ASME (B.16.5/34) flanges.

Just FYI, There is also an ISO standard ISO-7005 which encompasses EN1092 and ASME flanges (as 2 different standards) and presently refers back to those standards.

Per ISO-4126, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.
