Dynamic Load on Foundation from Screen

I am adding a new wood chip screen, and need to design the concrete foundation. I have been given the following from the screen vendor. These loads are typical 4 places.
Fvstatic = 25k
Fhstatic = 5k
Fhdynamic = 1k
I would like to do spread footings.
How do I treat the dynamic load? I know I can not act like it is a just a static load. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks,

That would be a good question for the geotechnical engineer. There are some soils (i.e. sandy) that can't take sudden [large] increases in pressure (ergo they do not make good support soils for dynamic loads). Your dynamic load here seems to be light so there may not be a problem.....but I lean heavily on the geotech because that's his area.

If I were given something from the vendor of that nature I would treat it as an amplified force and design the foundation for 6kips lateral.

You need to look at the vibration spectrum as well as the magnitude of the dynamic force. A chip screen might have a frequency spectrum that will make your shallow foundation act like a large vibratory compactor....resulting in settlement.

Most of these are set on shallow foundations, assuming reasonable soil conditions. As 3dd noted, check with the Geotech for soil response characteristics.

Thanks guys,
Upon further review I think I am actually going to go with Micro Piles. I have some existing footing interferences and space limitations.
