duty cycle to voltage or current converter

could you please inform me if is there any device that converts duty cycle to an analogue voltage or analogue current.

If you are describing a PWM signal, an integrator will do exactly what you require. In power applications an inductor often provides this function by integrating current. Very good integrators can also be built using simple op-amp circuits.

A duty cycle signal may also vary in voltage and have spikes. If the source is low enough in impedence, a resistor in series with a zener shunt will limit voltage to a known value. This can then be fed through a resistor to a simple RC filter and the voltage monitored across the cap. This was the basic design of dewll meters when cars had points. What is the source of this signal? It seems like an unusual request.
