Drawing Module (Axis)

I am using WildFire 5.0 and wondering if there is an option to change the size or turn off the extension of the axis in the drawing mode? I am having to stretch the extension lines while in the drawing module to make the axis appear as if there are no extension lines.

Your assistance will reduce my time when creating a drawing.
