Using Creo 3/Simulate. I am trying to model a circular bolted flange as
an axisymmetric model. How do you model the bolting to get an accurate
cross section area? The flange and connecting piping cover 360 degrees
continuous but the bolting is intermittent. Do the bolts have to
somehow be modeled separately and combined with the flange model? Is there
a different element to be used for this case?

Thanks.
