Please help me - I am running Pro/E 2000i Student Edition on a laptop with 128MB RAM and 433MHz. The text size on dimension labels in sketcher and datum plane labels etc is too small to see. Is there a setting I can change? Or is it because my resolution is only 600x800, and if so, is there any way araound it? Also when viewing a shaded solid it only shows little bits of the surfaces.
Cheers

try changing your setting in display properties under advanced, that give you small font or large fonts settings.
try that. and see if it work for you. question, let me know.

Look for the Drawing Setup option in the menu tree, in 2000i2 it is located in Drawing>Advanced>Draw Setup

Here are default values that control just about everything you see in drawing mode. Once all settings are how you like them (larger dimension text size, etc), you should save them in a .dtl file so that you can reapply all of the personalized settings at once the next time you need them.

DRAWING_TEXT_HEIGHT is the one that controls text size.

In the PDF documents, you should have one which allows you to access the 'Drawing Mode' manual...here are all of the settings, what they do, and setting options. If you have no idea what I am referring to, you should contact the retailer for the student version for support.
