Direct conversion from CATIA to SolidWorks 1

I am an inspector/draftsman for a machine shop, producing parts for a company that provides us with a reduced dimension PDF print and a CATIA solid part file. I am trying to produce drawings for the machinist to program the parts. I am much more proficient at SolidWorks and was wondering if there is a direct converter for CATIA parts to SolidWorks. I have used IGES files but find it lacking in detail. I was hoping there is something else available.
