Hi,
I am new to compression concrete testing. I am trying to preform a C- 109 digital compression test on a 8" x 8" (7.5" x 7.5") concrete cube used in the foundation repair industry. I have a Homboldt-5090.3F digital indicator, I need to know the preload rate and the preload limit I know the test rate is 35 psi per sec +/- 7 psi any help would be appreciated

C109 is for testing 2" cubes, not 8" cubes. The loading rate is 200 to 400 lb/sec.

As Ron notes... you might need a pretty large test frame for an 8x8 speciment... whatever test you're running.
