I have noticed that gantry heights are different around countries and no specific height for the same voltage is used. some local utilities has no standard design for gantry and contractors end up with difference height every time.
Is there any international standard for that? (I have never seen any!) or how to determine it precisely? I have seen places with gantries too high compared with equipment below them, wondered why should that much steel and big foundation wasted? OHTL requirement and minimum vertical clearance approach? I doubt.
