Deform Feature

Can somebody please help me decifer this tool. All I want to do is crush an oval tool with a rectangular feature at some arbitray depth to depict how the tube will crush when the tube is put in the punch press. How do you use this tool? Help file was not helpful.

Try the flex feature, that may give you something closer to what your asking. I believe there is an option to "stretch" the model, just pick the plane horizontal to the crushing force and also intersects the part midway.
