Can anyone tell me the easiest way to create text in an arc fashion? I need text to go around the edge of a cap.

Thanks for any help provided.

There is a GRIP program in the griplib called o_text.

At the risk of sounding like an amateur. What and where is the griplib/program usually located in NX?

Thank you

<loadpoint>GRIPLIB in my case c:\ugs180\GRIPLIB

The library is distributed in a .tar format. You will need to expand it to find the o_text.grs file.

There is also a tool written by Weideman Engineering
( in Germany, called True Type 2 UG. It gives a very nice graphical interface to create splines from any True Type font on your system. It works VERY well, but keep in mind you must have a UG API Execute license to run it.
