You can erase cosmetic threads via the Show/Erase dialog box, but once they are gone, they are gone. The threads option is greyed out in the show option. How do you get them back if you've made a mistake and erased them?

Thanks in advance

You have to select cosmetic feature button in 'Erase tab' then go to 'Show tab' and select show all.

Charles It's not happening. The thread button gets unselected.

show all does not work

I can't get that to work. It gets unselected. Any other suggestions?

I'm currently using 2000!. I don't know if the different versions behave differently.

Are you depressing 'Cosmetic feature' button from ERASE (Not from SHOW).

Then you switch to SHOW, that button is grayed out but still depressed. From there you should be able to show by view or show all.

I hope this works for you.

It can be done!!!! While in erase tab keep the cosmetic feature button selected then come to show tab, at the bottom there are two more tabs, OPTIONS and PREVIEW, go to preview tab unselect with preview u

Jackpot!! That was it. The key was to uncheck the With Preview button.

Thanks Guru.
