Continuous feature applied to features along a circumference

Can the CF call out be used to describe the dimensions of features along the circumference of a circle? For example, an evenly spaced pattern of "tabs" that share the same O.D. In the Y14.5 standard it says its used to "identify a group of two or more features of size where there is a requirement that they be treated geometrically as a single feature of size."

However, all the diagrams only show it being applied to interrupted diameters that exist axially along a shaft. I would think it can be applied in my case. The tabs are technically features of size since they each have a diametrically opposite point that can be used to generate an axis.

I would think that Y14.5-2009 Fig 2-10 would be sufficient to extend the concept to your case. The only difference being that instead of a width shaped feature, you have a circular feature.

The continuous feature symbol has been expanded in 2018 to include more use cases, however I don't see the exact one you are referring to. A similar example is in Y14.5-2018 Fig 11-23 (below) however it applies profile as it is not a FOS as it lacks opposed points*. If as you say your feature does have opposed points the same logic as in 2009 with fig 2-10 (now 5-13 in 2018) I think would be sufficient.

*Edit: My mistake it does have opposed points, but I wonder if it is necessary to apply profile in this case or if it could be treated as a FOS? Perhaps someone else could enlighten me.
