Can someone please tell me what is meant by the terms:
"break down on the 9th"
"top the precast plat"
bridging

We need more context. For example, bridging in structural applications means something different than bridging in Geotechnical applications.

The first is probably referring to either removing the concrete forms on the 9th of a certain month, or a planned mental breakdown due to problems with a local jurisdiction. It could also mean removing the equipment from the jobsite, as in breaking down camp. You pick.

The second, are you sure it was not "top the precast plank"? If so, it could mean pouring the topping slab over a precast plank. Otherwise, I do not know.

As for bridging, it is a structural element placed between floor joists to spread a point load to more than one joist.

Not much to go on there. Would assume it has something to do with event on the project schedule.

1 To separate the work or task into components or parts: broke the work into discrete tasks;
2. Equipment break down;
3. An interruption or a disruption in continuity or regularity.

that occurs on the 9th day or 9th item, street, etc.

"top the precast plat"

Perhaps this means finish the precast portion of the project scope or "Top out".

A project delivery method for construction projects that is a hybrid of the traditional "design-bid-build" and the "design-build" methods, the objective of which is to retain the best features of both methods for the project owner and eliminate those aspects of each that often cause problems for the owner.

"break down on the 9th" could mean lots of things, some noted above.

"top the precast plat" may refer to stadium seating plats, which is the only structural meaning I know for the word "plat".

"bridging", as Mike says is for load sharing between joists. Also for bracing the compression flange of joists, purlins, girts, etc. And for general bracing of wall studs.
