I am using the ACI318-02 which has a new phi for columns of 0.65 (was 0.70). The old curves could be used by simply ratioing them, except in the bending area transition where the phi value goes to 0.90 (unchanged). I was never thrilled with interpolating these curves.

I have found on the net a MathCad routine that will produce curves for exact reinforcing layout. It references pages 3-5 to 3-8 in the CRSI manual (not likely the most current as 0.70 was used for phi). I do not have access to this reference and would appreciate someone emailing me a scan of these pages to <jrmack@telus.net>.

I would also like some hard data (rather than curves) based on exact layout of reinforcing that I could test the routine against. This could be old data to 0.70 phi. A reference on the internet would be ideal.
