Shed construction an in an area that gets washed out with water flow occasionally. Didn't want to use PT sill and sill gasket but instead use a CPVC trim under the 2x6 wall (with a bottom plate). Best I can tell, PT 2x6 has a compressive strength of 850psi and the CPVC trim is about 1,000 PSI.

Any issue with using this CPVC capillary break in lieu of the sill gasket? I realize it will be more expensive, but I really wanted a waterproof connection to the slab.

Thanks.
