Components and Cladding For Arched Roofs

In calculating the components and cladding for arched roofs, you have to calculate the rise to span ratio as specified in Figure 27.4-3 in ASCE 7-10. When you have a "single sloped" arch, does the span you utilize equal the width of the structure?

You mean like a half-arch? Where the peak is at the end of the curved frame?
