Color Limitations based in Coating types

Is there any limitation of coating type wrt to color?

As we use various coatings such as Aluminium pigmented silicone or Aliphtic Polyurethane etc, can we not get any desired color irrespective of coating type?

Please explain as how different colors (RAL No.) are achieved ?

Most suppliers have standard colours that, generally, do not have a premium cost. They can often provide special colours and as IR noted, you should check with them for standard colours or premium colours.

Any high temperature product i.e. aluminum filled polysiloxane- the question isn't really so much what the colour is now, but what the colour will be after you've heated it up...There are only a few colours available that are durable against high temperature.

At lower temperatures, some colours require pigments, some require both pigments and dyes. That represents a difference in cost, and in some cases also in colour stability.

Thanks gentlemen.. As I understand from your comments, there is a limitation to color wrt to coating type (may be due to high temperature or curing temperature etc.).

So it means that if we want to have uniform color across the plant irrespective of operating temperature, it may or may not be possible.

IT may be possible, but only if you select black or aluminum colour.
