Color / Appearance Issue

This is an odd problem I have never seen before.

My colors are in there, however on the Appearance Gallery, they are all gray. (see attached screenshot)

If I select a color to change the color on my part, the color behaves properly on the model.

I did notice that if I check the box for "Rendered Samples" that I can see colors on the samples, but they are all very dark. They are still not the bright colors I'm used to.

Any idea why the Appearance Gallery display is doing this?

I just noticed a message which reads "Image missing from Environment light. Specify the image in Light Editor."

Hmmmm.... I've never dealt with this before. What is a Environment light Image?
 
Search PTC Community - it's a recent change from older versions to Creo 3 that causes the appearance gallery display to be dark.
