Hello,

i am trying to use cohesive elements in Nastran 2014(both plane strain and 3D). So as a starter i am trying to validate the results i get from a simple experimental DCB test before using them in a real structure. The problem is that even though i get the correct trend of the Force vs Relative Displacement graph the maximum values of the Constraint Force are much lower that the experimental or numerical ones from other FEA software such as Abaqus(let's say 15N instead of 60N). Has anyone ever used and tried to validate Cohesive Elements in Nastran?

Thank you!

ps the validation is dove via experimental and numerical results found in scientific papers.
