Hi all,

Do you know if there is any way I can simulate clay with cobbles soil on plaxis or any other program?

Thank you in advance!

What are you trying to model? For most gravelly or cobble-filled clay soils with more than 5-15% clay, the cobbles do not impact the strength or angle of internal friction. The cohesive strength of clay controls since there is no rock-rock interfacing. For simple settlement or capacity calculations ignore the cobbles, and use a standard M-C model. Will that work for what you are doing?
