Hello,

I'm having trouble with cells displaying when live nested referenced into other files. It only seems to occur in certain levels, as when I change the cell to another level the cell appears. I have double checked and all the levels are ticked for global display in all files, any ideas??

Cheers in advance

deano281, are you using Level Manager to control level display or the Level Display dialog? When you talk about global display it sounds to me like you are using Level Manager. Level Manager is for creating, deleting and modifying level attributes. Use the Level Display dialog to turn levels on and off. The Level Display dialog can be used with reference files and nested references as well. Make sure the level is on in the Display dialog for the specific file the cell is placed in.

Hello Bob,

Cheers for the speedy response.

As you mention, as a rule I use the level display primarily, and only rarely use the level manager. The cell level is inidcated as being on in both, and still does not appear!

One of those frustarting Bentley moments where I have a feeling I am one tick-box away from solving!!

Cheers,

The cell appears in both plot and view in the master file, however whichever file I reference the master into it doesnt show up.

I have checked the display options and they are all on, I'm baffled!!

Hello Bob,

Think I've figured it out. The Cell was on a construction class and not a primary class. Changing it seems to of solved the problem.

Cheers for your help.
