Good morning.
I was recently told that there are special venting/penetration bracing requirements for snow loads in California if the load is over 100 pounds. Is this erroneous? I understand about splitters and crickets and how they should be installed so the snow goes around the vent. What my question is, specifically if there are requirements under the roof that it has to be supported below a certain way other than what is standard.
We have a metal roof with a 6/12 pitch in Los Angeles County.
Any information you have on this subject would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
