Column Bracing - Stiffness Check

I have a beam acting as point bracing for 3 columns with relatively light loading. Using Appendix 6 - A-6-3, I have calculated the required brace force for each column (.01*P), and using A-6-4b, I have calculated the stiffness required for each individual brace. My question has 2 parts:
1 - How do I calculate the combined necessary stiffness for the multiple different braces? Highest individual, simple addition, weighted average?
2 - How does the additional normal force on this beam impact the required stiffness calculation?

Maximum deflection limit is 1/8". If I combine the required brace forces, along with the point load on the beam, and calculate a minimum inertia value, (simplifying PL^3/48EI) this seems to yield a far higher stiffness then any of the column braces require. I feel this is the most conservative (and easiest way), but am I correct in saying this?
