Cathodic Protection for a Pilot.

Hello Folks,

Do you recommend considering CP for a pilot plant with the life expectancy of 5 years?

Any feedback is appreciated.

External; internal; what process; what location; what materials? The answer is: if the predicted unmitigated degradation rate is such that the plant will not achieve the 5 year design life, and the consequences of a corrosion failure are unacceptable, then corrosion control measures will be required. One of those corrosion control measures could be CP.
