Cathodic Disbondment 1

Dear all,
I need to know differences between Testing methods of Cathodic Disbondment by ASTM G8 and DIN 30670, which one is updated and preferable?

Appreciate any efforts in advance.

ASTM G8 "Standard Test Methods for Cathodic Disbonding of Pipeline Coatings" is still active and was revised as recently as 2010. On the other hand, DIN 30670 has been withdrawn and replaced by DIN EN 10288 "Steel Tubes and Fittings for On and Offshore Pipelines - External Two-Layer Extruded Polyethylene Based Coatings" which was last updated in 2003 and appears to be only available in German. Differences beyond that would require obtaining the two standards (which I don't have). Some scope differences may be gleaned from the titles.
