Hello All,
In your experience do you recommend a system of cathodic protection (impressed or galvanized) for a Carbon steel Pipeline of Diesel running above the ground (not buried)?
For information the life of the plant will be 50 years.

The cathodic protection is for the underground pipeline. Suggest to use an external painting to protect the aboveground pipeline.

Cathodic protection of any kind DOES NOT WORK on above ground pipelines.

Look very carefully at the points where the pipe is supported. They are usually the points where corrosion occurs.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.
