Can Code 62 Flanges be used in an B31.3 process piping?

Hello everyone,

I am new to this line of work and I have a silly question. Can a SAE Code 62 flange be used in ASME B31.3 process piping?

Yes, if it is for a hydraulic system and it conforms to SAE J518.
