I just want to ask. How do you calculate the outlet temperature of a boiler in a diesel fired boiler? I need to calculate the LMTD and I only have a data of inlet water and outlet steam. HELP!
Take the steam pressure to a pressure/temperature chart for saturated steam.
If the steam is super heated, the temperature will be higher in the super heater section.

Not just a good idea; It's the LAW!
You do not calculate the outlet temperature of a boiler. You control it by adjusting the firing rate to keep the pressure and temperature constant. It is usually pressure that is measured and controlled in a boiler rather than temperature. The boiling point in a boiler is governed by the pressure(except when super-heating).
