I want to make a breakout in a view but only I only want the breakout to remove an area of 1 of the several parts in that view. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I am sorry but I do not know 'Overload properties' Could you please explain how to do this.
Sorry to be a pain

Hi,

Right click on the drawing view
select object/overload properties
select part you would like to hide in the drawing view
characteristics dialog box appear
press edit button
uncheck the use when projecting box in the editor dialog box
repeat with every part in the drawing view
OK

Hello again
My object/overload properties is 'greyed out'. I tried to make a new view by selecting individual parts rather than the complete model but the result is the same. Is there something in tools-options which needs activating. I can find nothing
