Books on conceptual wood design 1

Hi,

Can you please refer me to books on the behavior and conceptual design of wood-framed houses? Not framing books for people who wanna build their houses, and not books conclosive on individual wood components design. I am looking for design of whole buildings covering conceptual design.
I highly appreciate your input.

The USDA Forest Service has a wood handbook. It's not a design manual per se. I've found it useful, however, I've read that there are some differences between it and the NDS.

FEMA also has many free publications for designing houses in coastal zones and retrofitting houses for wind and floods. FEMA P-55, P-312, P-301, P312, P-550
