The Lug Support design section covers everything except bolt sizing, as other support sections do. Does COMPRESS have a separate section for the sizing of anchor bolts when designing lugs? If so, where? and if not, why not?

COMPRESS does not calculate the loads on the anchor bolts for support lugs and does not size these bolts. This must be done manually outside of COMPRESS.

The loads for design of the anchor bolts can be determined from the COMPRESS Support Lug report.

Why isn't this done? Unfortunately, our resources aren't infinite. I put this on our program development list some time ago but other development work is taking priority.

This has been on our wish list for years as well. This would be a time saving feature that can hopefully be implemented this decade.
