Block foundation for self-support towers 1

I am having trouble finding design literature regarding the foundation design for self-support towers. All texts (Bowles, Das, ....) discuss footing design for small moments. On a 100 ft self-support tower, the moment is so severe that Bowle's analysis does not apply.

If anyone has any literature on the subject, or can point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
 
Is this a monopole, tri-leg or quad leg? The analytical approach will be different for each.
 
Drilled piers are common for towers, especially monopole. I've used shallow spread footings for tri-leg and quad-legs before.
 
The Brom's equation is a very simple and conservative method for sizing drilled piers subjected to high overturning moments. You can find it in most texts.
