B31.3 Unlisted Component

I know that B31.3 excludes instruments. But I have a question regarding thermowells - unlisted component or not? What say you?

Refer to ASME B31.3 2014 para 306.6, which refers to ASME PTC 19.3 TW. PTC 19.3 TW has its restrictions, which are listed in table 4-1-1 of the respective standard.

Let me add another condition....I am working to an earlier edition of B31.3. Sorry that tidbit was not originally included.
