Does 31.3 require a qc manual and ifso does any one have any info or contacts as to how I can formulate one? We are a small mechanical company and we are interested in becoming completely compliant.
Seems like a good first step to being fully compliant would be to read & understand B31.3. The chapter you're directly interested in is something like 15 pages, including figures and tables.

QA Manual to do B31.3 work is recommended, but not mandatory. It should look like any other ASME QA manual, without the mndatory Hole points for the AI, and detailed weld travelers.
Duwe6,
That is what I thought I was just looking for someone to confirm I have read 31.3 extensively and saw no referance to QA/QC manual. I have a manual for my R stamp program so I will get to work on writing one for B31.3
