We would like to use Automation Direct's T1H-EBC ethernet IO with 24V IO modules. Their cost is about 1/2 that of Opto-22 or NI but we can't find a simple ActiveX to interface with these products and our Visual Basic application. There are SDKs available but documentation is scarce and implementation awkward. We would be glad to pay for a good program, even if we only use a portion of it. Does anybody know of an ActiveX, 3rd party consultant, or software package?

I'm not too sure of your app. but look into Automation Dir's "DSData" Server.

Great suggestion, PC-DSDATA is $295 and is nice DDE/OPC server. It was easy to integrate with Visual Basic for a SCADA system I once built. Look @ for this product!
