I've been told that Australia requires pressure vessel certification other than ASME. I'm looking for the Australian Standard AS1210 printed code or help from someone who can advise the differences between AS1210 and ASME unfired pressure vessel Section 8.

You can purchase AS 1210 on the net from as a PDF.

The registration of pressure vessels in Australia is on a state by state basis. I believe that one can register a vessel designed to ASME or CEN standards without too much trouble. You would need to submit the calculations, manufacturing data records, NDE and hydrotest certificates.

What state are you considering? If its a product to be sold here nationally one would need to register in each state.
