What is the maximum allowable operating pressure for a fitting (2" x 3/4" Sch. 80 WPBN reducer) meeting A234 specifications?

Will it be rated for at least 2000psi?

Yes again. A 234 has a Tensile strenght 15% more than A106 Grade B.

DCasto,
I have a couple of questions:
1: How can a fitting be rated for a MAWP without the operating temperature? I can understand the 2000 psi at ambient but I'm assuming the reducer would not be operating at ambient.
2: A234 (CS) is available as WPB & WPC. I show min tensile as 60 ksi & 70 ksi respectively, with the corresponding pipe spec A106B & A106C reflecting these same values.

Am I missing something?

Don't you have a piping "line specification" or pipe classification for the part of the system you are working on ? This would answer your question...

Do you have any system PIDs or flow sheets showing line classes ?

Have the owners, bosses and other supervisors thrown away all of the plant documents and assume that you can answer any question about plant design and repair with no references ?
