When I press F8 assembly is oriented not the way I was expecting,it shows me at some strange angle even when I rotate assembly closely to normal position of some face before I hit F8.What determines how assembly is going to be orientated if face is not preslected?I guess one of the component is influencing on orientation, but when I check that It seams to be OK.

How is your WCS setup? Reorient your WCS and then your F8 shall work like you want it to. Just a thought.

I got the two mixed up, we have the ugiiFKEYS variable turned on so F4 will orient our view to the WCS. F8 is not affected by the WCS like mentioned above.

Thank you gentlemen s, I tried but it's not working, even when I almost orient view (face) close to normal ,and press F8 it orientates away to some angle.Something else drives this orientation but I can't figure out.

Did you select the face and is it planar? Is the component fully loaded (if working in an assembly)? If the answer is "no" to any of these, NX may not orient the view to the face.

A screenshot or example part file may help to diagnose the issue.
